Are leopard sightings guaranteed?

Leopard sightings are not guaranteed. Leopards are solitary and elusive creatures, brilliantly camouflaged in their surroundings. Spotting them depends on luck, timing, and the expertise of your guide, who will track them based on recent sightings.

Jawai’s wildlife sanctuary is home to diverse predators and unique species, including the Indian Wolf, Striped Hyena, Panther, Jungle Wild Cat, and the iconic Indian Leopard.

Jawai is open year-round for safaris. Winter (October to March) offers comfortable weather and excellent chances for wildlife sightings. In summer, animals often congregate near water bodies, making it easier to spot them.

Morning safaris usually start around 5:30 AM, and evening safaris commence at 3:30 PM. The exact timing will be shared in your booking confirmation.

Each safari lasts approximately 3 hours.
